Since founding Saunders & Silverstein LLP, Matthew has concentrated his practice on counseling clients in matters of copyright, trademark, Internet, and entertainment law. Matthew represents a wide range of clients including software companies, online retailers, web designers, and entertainers.

Matthew received his J.D. degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center, one of the nation’s leading intellectual property law schools. Prior to founding Saunders & Silverstein, Matthew worked as law clerk with the Entertainment Software Association in Washington, D.C., and with the Media and Entertainment practice group at Fish & Richardson, P.C., in Boston, Massachusetts. In a former life, Matthew played bass guitar in numerous rock bands in the Boston area, including the also-rans, The Oscillators, and Miss Mary. He currently resides in New Hampshire with his wife, daughter, and excitable dog.

As a founding attorney at Saunders & Silverstein LLP. Aaron focuses his practice on trademark, copyright, Internet, and entertainment law, and represents a diverse group of clients, including telecommunications companies, software companies, designers, and entertainers.

Aaron has extensive experience counseling clients in the use, adoption, and enforcement of trademarks in the United States and abroad, and has successfully prosecuted numerous trademark applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He oversees clients’ multi-national trademark portfolios in numerous industries, including apparel, software, telecommunications, and e-commerce, and advises clients on creative intellectual property strategies.

Aaron also advises clients in many aspects of copyright law, including music, visual arts, multimedia, and licensing.

Aaron regularly represents clients in trademark Oppositions and Cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He also has experience litigating copyright and trademark matters.

Aaron received his law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
